CNC CLOUD – Avoid production downtime and loss of important data due to computer software and hardware failures that intelligently control your CNC machines.

Software problems account for about a quarter of the total number of support requests that TOP TECH SERVICE receives through its ticketing system.

Most of these problems can be solved by remote support, but even then it often happens that due to the lack of original discs containing the control installation or machine data backup, solving these problems can take several days with the need for physical by the presence of a service technician in the factory for re-adjustment of machines and tools. This, in combination with the availability of service personnel and the path that needs to be taken to reach the customer, in addition to the enormous damage that each stoppage produces, leads to additional costs in terms of machine service.

CNC CLOUD

involves taking care of computer software and hardware on BIESSE machines through the creation of image files, quarterly backup of machine data and control of the state of hardware (motherboard, hard disk, etc.) and software (operating system state, machine control functioning, presence of unwanted programs and virus). The collected data is stored on a cloud platform and can only be accessed by the user through their username and password at any time and from any place.

IMAGE OF THE SYSTEM

implies the annual creation of a copy of the complete hard disk (operating system, control, programs and client data) in the form of an image file that is placed on the cloud platform. The file in this form can be easily and quickly transferred to a new hard disk if necessary, thus with minimal effort and the necessary IT skills of the user, downtime is reduced to an absolute minimum and, in most cases, the need for a technician to come to the factory is eliminated. This is useful both in cases of hardware and software failures and for diagnostics, as it gives the service technician a starting point where the machine has been running smoothly.

MACHINE DATA BACKUP

as part of the CNC CLOUD service, backups of the machine control and the client’s machine programs are made 3 times a year, which ensures that in the event of any problems, the data that is returned after the intervention of the service will be up-to-date.

HARDWARE CONTROL

is a preventive measure that is carried out before creating an IMAGE OF THE SYSTEM, by controlling the hardware components of the computer that fail the most (hard disk and motherboard) using appropriate software for that purpose. This is especially important for older machines with computers that are more than 10 years old. The purpose of this control is to prevent downtime, as it allows the customer to replace the computer or repair the hardware while the machine is still running, instead of reacting only when a failure occurs.

SOFTWARE CONTROL

ensures that the machine’s operating system is in working order, that the machine’s control works without interruptions and problems, and that there are no viruses on the computer itself and that no additional programs are installed that can threaten the smooth functioning of the machine. This control is performed before the creation of the IMAGE OF THE SYSTEM.
